The purpose of this law is to set the rules for the implementation of genetic improvement actions for domestic animal species in Burkina Faso. The law regulating the genetic improvement of livestock in Burkina Faso applies to animal species whose list is established by regulation after the opinion of the National Commission for Genetic Improvement provided for in this law.
