Present in 170 countries and territories, UNDP is one of the main multilateral development organizations contributing to the eradication of poverty and the reduction of inequalities and exclusion. Since its establishment in 1966, UNDP has worked tirelessly in cooperation with government authorities, civil society, the private sector and other partners to maintain the achievements of the past 50 years. As the organization enters its second half century, UNDP remains confident about the prospects for development and is firmly committed to playing its part in fulfilling the promise made in support of the Sustainable Development Goals. With our experience in the field and our expertise in the field of development, we support efforts to achieve these goals and shape a comprehensive approach to sustainable development.
