Like other nations, Burkina Faso has submitted its sixth national report on biological diversity, a document that gives the various parties an opportunity to review the progress made at the national level. Party to the Convention on Biological Diversity, Burkina Faso, through the Permanent Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development (SP/CNDD), the national structure coordinating the implementation of the Rio Conventions, has always met this requirement to provide its report to the Conference of Parties every four years.
